We feel like this size of this protest will likely be much larger than we initially anticipated due to y'all's ability to mobilize & get the word out- THANK YOU!
We feel that it's in the best interest of everyone's safety to gather along the sidewalks that line Bridge road/Rt. 17 in the vicinity of Sentara BelleHarbour IF the crowd size exceeds the sidewalk in front of the hospital. We have NOT asked for permission to be on Sentara's property, so please keep our presence to public rights of way.
We feel that this protest will likely turn into a "No Kings" style protest where we line the sidewalks of Bridge Road with our signs and bring awareness of ICE's egregious overreach, racism, and abuse of immigrants in our communities.
DO NOT PARK at Temple Beth El. They are extraordinarily particular about their property & WILL have your vehicle removed.
DO NOT obstruct emergency or personal vehicles in the intersections in front of the hospital. Taking this guidance in mind, park within areas compliant with the law.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE PROTEST MARSHALLS.
