Register to Vote

You are eligible to register to vote in Virginia if all of these are true:

  • You are a citizen of the United States
  • You will be at least 18 years old by the next general election day
  • You are a resident of Virginia
  • You are not registered in another state and don't plan to vote in another state
  • You are not declared mentally incompetent by a court of law
  • You are either not convicted of a felony or your voting rights have been restored

  • Friday, September 19, 2025
    • Early in-person voting begins and continues every weekday through Oct 31. Also on Sat. Oct. 25 & Sat. Nov. 1
  • Friday, October 24, 2025.
    • Last day to register or update registration in time to vote in the November general elecion
    • Last day to apply for a ballot to be mailed to you (Request must be received by 5:00pm)
  • Saturday October 25, 2025
    • Saturday Voting
  • Saturday November 1st
    • Saturday Voting
  • Tuesday November 4, 2025 -
    • Election day for the General Election
