Count Continues for Local Races

As of election night, the Democratic Committee's endorsed candidate for mayor, Clint Jenkins, was behind incumbent Mike Duman by 68 votes. Our endorsed candidate for school board Thelma Hinton was behind Sean McGee in the Whaleyville Borough. With about a thousand provisional ballots to count, these races are still in the running. It may be another week until we know who won these races
