Early Voting for June Primary has Begun

In-person early voting has begun for the June 18th primary in Virginia's 2nd Congressional District, and you can cast your ballot at the Registrar's office at 440 Market Street. You have a choice of two outstanding candidates, Missy Cotter Smasal and Jake Denton. The winner will challenge Republican Jen Kiggans. The second district includes all of Suffolk. The last day of early in-person voting is Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.

Those casting their vote on Primary Day, June 18th, will do so at their precinct polling location

Either candidate would represent the 2nd District with compassion, pragmatism, and honesty. The Suffolk Democratic Committee does not endorse candidates for primary elections, but we encourage voters to learn about their candidates and participate in this important election.
