When their nation asked, they stepped up and served. Today we honor our veterans for their commitment, their service, and their sacrifice for our country. We will never forget or take for granted the selfless acts of the thousands of veterans who call our Commonwealth home.dpva chairperson Susan Swecker
Our thoughts and prayers are with every veteran and their families, and today we recommit ourselves to ensuring their needs are not forgotten when they return home.
United Citizen Power (UCP) is partnering with the Kettering Foundation and the National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) to host a Community Discussion Forum on the topic of Immigration.
One of the main goals of this NIF project is to enable people to talk across divides and to allow all of us to consider a range of views as we deliberate on tough issues. In these divided times, this mission is more important than it has ever been.
To that end, we will be hold a series of moderated discussions, inviting folks from all perspectives and across the political spectrum. The discussions will be held between Sept 7, 2018 and November 30, 2018, and beyond.
