Get involved with local organizations, network with fellow Suffolkians, and meet someone new by “checking out” a person at our Human Library.
Your Suffolk Democratic Committee, along with other organizations such as The Genieve Shelter and the Coalition Against Poverty in Suffolk will be participating in this interactive event.

The Carisbrooke Community Association will hold a forum with Rebecca Colaw and Emily Brewer on Sunday, September 24th at 2 pm. The forum will be at the common area at 11 Nelson Maine.
This Sunday is a chance to see your candidate in action and to show your support for Rebecca.
The Morgan Memorial Library in Downtown Suffolk will be viewing the documentary, GerryRIGGED: Turning Democracy on its Head, which explores the issue of gerrymandering and its impact on voting districts in Virginia. Following the screening a representative from OneVirginia2021 will answer questions about the film and the work the group does to advocate for redistricting reform.
